Community Standards – No. 1 Healthcare

At No. 1 Healthcare, we’ve established these community standards to ensure that everyone engaging with our platform shares the same values and behaviours that drive the high-quality care and support we strive to deliver.
Upholding these principles is a commitment we make to every member of our community — every single day.
1. Treat Everyone with Respect
Respect and dignity are at the core of how we expect everyone in our community to interact. Treat others the way you wish to be treated—this includes showing respect for each other’s space and belongings.
No. 1 Healthcare is built on a foundation of equal opportunity and freedom of choice. Carers and clients alike have the freedom to choose who they work with, based on mutual respect, honesty, and transparency.
We do not tolerate any form of discrimination—towards carers, clients, or team members. For more details, please refer to our Equality & Respect Policy.
2. Be Honest and Trustworthy
Trust is the foundation of any supportive community. That’s why we expect honesty from everyone at all times—whether the issue is big or small.
All members of the No. 1 Healthcare community should strive to be dependable, transparent, and take responsibility for their actions.
3. Show Professionalism and Initiative
Delivering safe, compassionate care requires teamwork, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.
If you have concerns, raise them promptly. If someone is doing an excellent job, acknowledge it. We believe in learning from mistakes and celebrating progress.
More details can be found in our Safeguarding Guidelines [insert link].
4. Communicate with Clarity and Courtesy
We expect communication across our platform to remain respectful, polite, and professional at all times.
This applies to every form of interaction—whether it's responding to a care request, sending an email or text, making a phone call, or documenting care notes and reports.
5. Respect Confidentiality and Data Privacy
At No. 1 Healthcare, we take the protection of personal information seriously.
Always uphold confidentiality. Do not share any sensitive or personal data without clear and appropriate permission. This includes names, addresses, health information, and photographs.
